9. Get an Italian Greyhound tattoo

I lost Mr. Darcy in September 2025, and even though I knew that since he had epilepsy I shouldn't expect to have him live the 18-19 years that some Italian Greyhounds do, I had wanted to keep him healthy and happy as long as I could. So losing him so abruptly was a jarring loss and having to help Georgie through missing him was even harder. If it hadn't been for Ariel and Annabel helping both of us figure out our lives without D, I might have stayed in the funk I fell into when he passed.

I had always wanted to get an Italian Greyhound tattoo because having Darcy was one of the best things that happened to me in my life, and having a reminder of him permanently felt important.
