Ever since Penguin started releasing their new clothbound classics, I've been obsessed with them. And then when the BBC started releasing their shorts, The Rebind, I desperately wanted to try and bind/rebind a book myself. I had a lot of the tools already (most importantly a cricut for cutting the foils) but I needed a few more supplies before I tried it myself.

The book I'm going to be rebinding is To the Sky Kingdom by Tang Qi which is one of my favorite fantasy books, and it's the text that inspired Eternal Love: Three Lives, Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, the costume C-Drama that got me obsessed with Chinese media. It's a beautiful love story with adventure and betrayal, and most importantly there isn't an English hardcopy available for purchase. So I am going to make one and add it permanently to my clothbound classic collection where it deserves to be.
